Ribbon Goodness with Emeline Seet

The moment I set my eyes on Glitz Designs Vintage Love, I could not take my eyes off the entire
collection. I had to create something for myself using this gorgeous line!

Here, I made a ribbon ruffled medallion with Glitz Designs Vintage Love Collection (Whatnots Vintage Cards) together with a piece of damask paper.

Step I : Using a decorative scissors, I cut around one of the Vintage Cards. Matt it with a black cardstock.


Step II : Run thread through Cream Ribbon. Using running stitch, pull the ribbon gently and ruffles with form naturally.
Once you have a complete circle, use glue gun to secure the ends.



Step III : Repeat the same for crepe paper.

Step IV: Rest ribbon ruffles above crepe ruffles and secure with glue gun.
Step V: Affix vintage card.



Step VI : Tie black and cream ribbon and embellish further with blings.
Step VII : Cut 2 strips of pattern paper to mimic ribbon and finish the ends with a “V” .

I love the idea of using these medallions as placecards, gift tags etc. They make beautiful pretties !

Crepe paper (1/2 inch wide) 12” long.

Here's another project I created. This time, I used Glitz Designs Kimset and Maya Collection.





The funky shabby bright collection is so inviting and appealing !
I created a little pocket-mini with a Birthday Theme in mind.
Each page is made into a pocket (measuring 5x6") with an opening by the side.
Each tags represents a month and birth dates of friends, love ones are written done on their respective months.
It makes it so much easier to remember dates this way; little excuse to forget a birth date of someone special :) !
