Vintage Adoration with Christine Penaflor

Good morning! I hope you're all doing well! Today I'd like to share a couple of cards that I created using the wonderful papers and embellishments from Glitz Design.

This first project has a sweet vintage card image from Glitz that celebrates friendship, and who wouldn't appreciate knowing that they're treasured as a friend forever? I just love the coordinating papers that match perfectly with the image as well.

After stitching a border around the light blue Glitz Vintage Love Letters paper, I added a couple of extra rows of sttiching to the top right corner and embellished the stitching with a few black Glitz frosting rhinestones.

I used the following products to create this card:
- Bazzill cardstock (blue card base, brown border)
- Shimmerz Spritz - Eucalyptus (on flower),  Shimmerz Paint - Antique Lace (on doily)
- Other: Doily, EK Success border punches, Petaloo flowers, crinkled seam binding, sewing machine stitching
The next card expresses the sweetness of having one's heart held dearly by another...

For this project, I used the vintage postcard from Glitz Design Vintage Love Whatnots set. It coordinated perfectly with the Distressed Couture Polka dot paper (DC2846) and red Kismet Ledger paper (K2860).  Each of these papers were layered onto the card base after I stitched a border around each piece of paper using my sewing machine and distressing the edges to add some dimension to them.  The white cardstock border was created using a Martha Stewart border punch.

The sentiment on the postcard is a rub on from the Glitz Vintage Extras set and the key has been embellished with Glitz Clear Frosting
for a touch of pizazz. Finally, I added some crinkled seam binding, a
Prima burlap flower, and a piece of Prima die cut felt to finish the
card.
I simply adore the vintage feel of these Glitz Design collections, and I hope that you'll be inspired to use some of them on your future projects as well! Have a wonderful day!
