Afternoon Muse goodness with Karola Witczak

Hello! Karola here with my very first post on Glitz Design blog!

Needless to say how happy I am that I can be part of Glitz Design Team! This is a great joy for me! Before I can show the projects created with a newest collections - let me show you what I created some time ago using one of the previous Glitz collections: Afternoon Muse. I just love it! I know I'm known for using mostly pastels, but those juicy colors steal my heart! I thought it would fit perfectly to create a page with a summer photo of my daughter.

I really like to create layers on my pages and I like the most when my layers have decorative edges, which is why I often use edge punches to give a beautiful papers even greater brilliance. Here we are a few layers made with lace edges.

I also created a frame that is the decoration of my craft desk. Inspired by the motto, which I found on one of the Whatnots cards - something I created on a daily basis to improve my mood ;) "All Good Thing Are Wild And Free", right? Imagine that I used for decoration only Whatnots cards, they are extremely inspiring! From old cardboard I cut out parts of my frame, painted it white with acrylic paint and glued elements mimic the old shabby chic frame. It's amazingly easy way to create your own frame for free :)

Inside I created a few different layers using 3d tape for better dimension. I LOVE layers! With Whatnots it's so easy, but that is a fact that you know, right?

Thank you for visiting the Glitz blog today! I hope you have a wonderful and creative week!
