Glitz Design February 2012 Blog Challenge Winner & Top 5

Happy Saturday!!  Today is the day that we reveal the winner, and Top 5 from our February Blog Challenge!  You were given a gorgeous color palette to work with, which was inspired a little bit by Valentine's day...but could be used for a lot of different themes and topics as well.  And you guys really rose to the occasion!  Thanks to everyone that participated in our February Blog Challenge....you all did a wonderful job!

Without further ado, here is the winner of the February Blog Challenge...who will receive the prize package!

Wendy Kwok- Happy Day layout

Wendy's two-page layout is gorgeous...and she combined new and old Glitz Design collections perfectly!!  We love all the fun cluster of accents, and the beautiful way she layered our papers and Whatnots!  Amazing job, Wendy!  Please email me your shipping address to glitzdt@gmail.com, and I will get it forwarded to our warehouse for shipping!! 

And here are the four other projects that caught our attention, rounding out our Top 5!  (Wendy's layout is part of the Top 5, just an FYI.)

Katja Schneider- Dream Girl layout

Katja's layout is so sweet, dreamy, and beautiful!!  She used the Beautiful Dreamer collection wonderfully, adding in some bits and pieces from our other collections here and there.  I love the layers of Whatnots and Peekaboos that basically do the journaling on the layout for her!  Awesome job, Katja!

Christin Gronnslet- Klare selv layout

Christin's layout is so artistic and beautiful!  We love all the white space, with the cluster of papers, embellishments and photos in the upper right corner.  The splatters of mist are a nice, artsy touch...and there is the perfect amount of them!  Love all the little tags of different Glitz Design papers too!!  Wonderful job, Christin! 

Shell Carman- Love layout

Shell's layout is so soft and pretty!!  I love the layering of beautiful flowers, and she used the Peekaboo's so beautifully!!  The fussy cut banners are a really lovely touch, and gave her an excellent way to add her title to the layout.  Beautiful job, Shell!! 

Sonia Thomason- Sweet Memories layout

Sonia's layout is a beautiful combination of shabby chic layering and artsy misting.  We love all the beautiful clusters of flowers and butterflies, along with that gorgeous lace behind the photos.  But the misting in the background just gives it that something special!!  Fabulous job, Sonia!!
