Paper Layers as Decor with Tracie Hudson

Have you seen this month’s Glitz Designs challenge?
Paper Layers are so versatile and with so many designs to choose from you will be spoilt for choice - I know I was!
Supplies used: Glitz Designs Dance in Sunshine Paper Layers, Glitzers, Journaling Cardstock Stickers, Epoxy Words and Trim.
I especially liked the text which is printed on one of the Paper Layers from the Dance in Sunshine collection, and decided that I would use it to create a framed project to hang in my home.
To create the Glitzers frame I attached it to acetate, cut out the centre and then around the frame. The frame was then layered above the Glitzers bird, using 3d foam pads, before being attached to layered Journaling Cardstock Stickers which had been wrapped with Glitz Designs Trim.

Layering is one of my favourite scrapbooking techniques. By layering elements I love how instantly your pages and projects become so much more dimensional.

If you look closely you will see that I used Glitz Designs Paper Layers on this page too!!
Supplies used: Glitz Designs Laced with Grace Rose, Plaid, Polka and Floral patterned paper; Laced with Grace Whatnots, Journaling Cardstock Stickers and Titles Cardstock Stickers; Love Games Clear Stamps; Teeny Alphas Woodgrain.

The tiny blooms were punched from a Paper Layer and then layered, with the top layer being gently lifted and curled to add more dimension.
To create the LOVE subtitle I used one of the many wonderful stamp sets from Glitz Designs and carefully, using a Kraft knife and a steady hand, I cut out each letter before adhering the title to my page.
Don't forget to enter your submissions to this month’s Glitz Designs challenge!
Have fun and thanks for calling by,
Tracie.x.
