Punched Flowers from Paper Layers with Laurie Schmidlin

Good morning!  It's my turn to share what I came up with for this month's Glitz Blog Challenge - Using Book Paper!  I love the Glitz Paper Layers (which are really similar to Book Paper)!  Not only are they lightweight, but coordinate with all the different Glitz collections!

GD Gonna Be Alright
For my first card, I not only used a stamped Paper Layer for the background (the tilted tan piece), but I also used one for a decorative mat for my focal image.  I started by embossing a floral image onto the book paper using clear embossing powder.  I then sponged on some Broken China Distress Ink over the whole thing.  Finally, I used a decorative die to create the label shape.  I adorned the card with a Giant Rhinestone, and Epoxy Word, ribbon, flower, and rhinestones/Dew Drops!
GD Merci
For my second card, I used punched out flowers from my Paper Layer and then mounted a flower on top of them.  I embellished my card using a Whatnot, Epoxy Words, Ribbon, and buttons.
