Life & Love with Nicole Martel

Hello ladies! I am so excited to be on this fabulous team and I am ready to share two new layouts in which I created using the "Love Games" line. I love this line even though I'm not big on scrapping "Love" layouts. For the first layout I wanted to scrap this photo of my son with his grandma. I wasn't sure how I was going to scrap this photo but when I saw the "Love Games" line, I knew it would be perfect. I love how this layout turned out.

I love the Peek-A-Boos but wasn't sure what to do with them so for this layout I decided to punch some butterflies from the transparencies to create my very own unique clear embellies. Don't they look fab?  Since I didn't have any flowers that would go with my patterns, I decided to create my own using some tull,pom poms and Glubers.

For my next layout, I tried a few different techniques to spark up my layout. The first thing I did was scrape the top of my Glitzer to distress it a bit and then I hand-cut the heart from a piece of the paper layers and hand wrote N&P.


Next, using a mini butterfly punch, I punched out the word "joy" from a piece of the paper layers to create a fun little embellishment! For those of you who do not own a sewing machine like myself, simply use a marker and ruler to create a fun line of dots to mimic the look of a stitched line.


And this is how it looks altogether!
