My first altered art project for the month of June was once a clean, white canvas from my local arts and crafts store, but it quickly became a cut, torn, painted, and stamped frame for my daughter's newest pictures.
This is a simple and easy way to complete a quick project for either a gift or home decor.
1. Paint frame.
2. Mix Crackle Accents into wet paint on canvas.
3. Stamp with one of the Glitz Frames Stamp set - use Staz-On.
4. Cut opening of frame and distress edges.
5. Add picture into canvas from the back.
6. Last, embellish using other Glitz stamps, rub-ons, or bling.

The next little project is super fun, because it allows you to be creative and patriotic. Last month, I featured a flower on my treasure box. In June, I used artificial flowers again, but I created paper stars that showcase Glitz's Kismet Collection. I adore the versatility of the Kismet line. It reminds me of old downtown parades, lemonade on a hot day, and bingo games. What a perfect collection for a special summer holiday!
I chose Glitz’s Kismet Collection because of the reds, browns, and blues, which allow me to show pride in the American Independence Day: The Fourth of July. I also created the paper flowers using paper from the Kismet line. These flowers are simple and easy: wet flower and squish!
I hope your summer is relaxing and exciting. Thanks for stopping by to visit.
