A Teacher Halloween Gift with Danni Reid

hello.  my youngest son has a very special kindergarten teacher who, because of cuts, has two kindergarten classes this year.  through it all, she has been wonderful to deal with, wonderful with the kids & shares her love of reading every single day.  it's a tough job & she has been a pro.

i wanted to make her a fun little gift for halloween, a gift she can enjoy with her classes, a gift that might just make this upcoming holiday fun for her too.  it's with this thought in-mind, that i created a halloween candy jar & storybook card for her to read to her students. 

i did not purchase a line of halloween papers this year (i did not have to).  i  knew when looking at my Glitz Designs patterned papers from the distressed couture, vintage love and maya lines, that i would have plenty of greens, black, browns & greys that i would not need to purchase themed papers.  i ordered some little yellow bicycle halloween chipboard pieces to go with the papers & it's been fun to use what i have in my supplies.

i used Glitz Design polka dot distressed stamps for the backgrounds, journaling tag stickers & my most favorite teeny alphas ever

 love the color of this green on the backside of the Maya Damask sheet, was fun to brighten up the Halloween theme from the grey & black
